The girls both tried out for the UIL(university interscholastic league) team. Samantha made the oral reading team (the same team she made last year) and Kayla made the storytelling team. They both have been practicing for months. They stayed after school many times to practice. Kayla didn't place this year but she was totally ok. I am so proud of her for working so hard and trying. Samantha placed first this year. She came in third last year. We are so proud of her also.
