Before Chris deployed we really wanted to go away just us two. My mom and dad said they could watch the kids so we left for our cruise March 29 to April 5. We drove from our house to the port in Galveston (about 4 hours or so away) and on the way we saw the most beautiful field of blue bonnets(Texas state flower). We had to stop and take some pictures. Texas may not be very green or even very pretty but they do have the most beautiful wild flowers. Once we got on the ship we ate at the buffet. They had these awesome carvings out of the melons.
