The day we left was nate's birthday so we decided to have a family birthday party for him before we left. I asked him what he wanted to have as his special birthday dinner and he said shrimp and sausage. We made fried shrimp and fried brats with alfredo noodles and broccoli and he loved it. He was so excited to have his little party. The night before he could barely get to sleep. Chris's aunt Lisa and Uncle Clayne and his cousin Chad had decorated their house with balloons and a happy birthday sign. We were staying with them. The boys had so much fun at their house. They have 3 older boys (their youngest is graudating from high school this year) and they had a bunch of star wars toys and legos. The boys especially loved the life sabers. They ended up getting nate one for his birthday. They have had fun with it. Kayla and Ethan even got a few gifts because their birthday's are within the next few weeks. The kids just loved his aunt and uncle and cousins. It was very hard to leave. The kids had such a great time and so did we. Thank you to all Chris's family that made our trip so much fun.
