For those of you who don't know, Chris's parents are rehiking the Mormon Battalion Trail. They started in July and will finish in Feb. They were in New Mexico a few weeks ago and we decided to go and visit with them. It has been a while since we have seen them. We were just going to bring our tent and camp but then found out that it was going to be in the 30's at night and the boys were still getting over colds. So it was also a good excuse for us to get a camper since I am not much the tent camper. Ethan was still on his nebulizer and we didn't want to take a chance at him getting sick again. Ethan was so funny about taking his nebulizer. Chris told him it was his star wars mask and so he didn't mind it at all. He even fell asleep once while he was taking it. So we rented a camper in El Paso which was on the way. It was really nice. Chris's mom had sent the girls and Nate some pioneer costumes. The girls wore theirs every chance they got. They loved cooking over the fire and helping grandma make dinner. The boys loved playing in the dirt. They got out their cars and just played in the dirt with their cars and trucks. They all also loved playing on the playground. It was really close to where we were camping. Chris's grandpa was also there. He brought his four wheeler. That was so much fun. One night we were able to go to a small branch and Chris's dad did a fireside for the branch. It was really neat to get to listen to some of the history. We were all dressed up in our pioneer stuff except Ethan. Chris's parents also had a tent that the Mormon Battalion would have slept in and the girls slept in it 2 nights.
