Samantha tried out for an oral reading team this year. It was her first time. She was one of 3 students in her school in 4th grade to make it. She was very excited because the other 2 girls that made it were her friends. They had lots of practices after school and worked hard at learning their stories. The competition was April 12 against 7 other schools. She took 3rd place and her other teammates took 1st and 2nd. We were all so excited for her. She did a great job.
