Chris got back yesterday after a 15 month deployment to Iraq. It was so exciting to see the buses pulling up and then see the feet of the soldiers getting off the bus. Then the buses drove off and the soldiers were standing in formation. I don't think any of us will ever forget that. The crowd went crazy and we were all screaming and clapping. It was great. We decided to stayed where we were at and let Chris come and find us. It took only about 2 mins for him to find us. Then we ran up and gave him a huge hug. Of course I was in tears. As soon as we ran to get Chris, Nate got excited and fell off the bleachers. It wasn't a long fall but that is why he is crying in the picture. The kids were very excited. Ethan screamed when Chris talked to him but he has warmed up to him. After we got his bags and headed home. Chris got the kids some gifts while he was travelling back. He got the boys some t-shirts and got the girls some pj shorts that say moose caboose. They are so funny. There is a story behind those shorts. When I was growing up my dad used to call my sisters and I the bertha butt sisters. Chris thought it would be funny to get them those shorts. We have been enjoying having our family complete again. Thank you to all of you who supported us during these 15 months. Enjoy the pictures!!
